francis bacon quotes

Francis Bacon, who developed the scientific method for the sixteenth century, was born in London on January 22, 1561. His father Sir Nicholas Bacon was an eminent figure. After his early education, Francis Bacon entered Trinity College, Cambridge University. After this he studied at ‘Grey Inn’ in London. Francis Bacon’s career began as a companion to England’s ambassador to France. He became a British parliamentarian in 1584 at a young age. But he did not get any useful work or ministry. He classified them in his own way, such as on the basis of memory, on the basis of logic, on the basis of imagination. He kept writing on various subjects, but his writing remained scattered and at times it was incomplete. But one of his contributions was remarkable and that was the development of a way to approach truth. This is called the ‘Baconian method’ and scientists follow it. He pointed out that many facts, which are usually hidden, reach our senses. Francis Bacon discovered and popularized the scientific method. Francis Bacon is known as the father of contemporary science. While busy with political and legal matters, he was deeply interested in science and philosophy. His practical attitude is reflected in his literary works. He did not hold any important position in Elizabeth’s kingdom, but his fortunes rose when James I became king. He was appointed Solicitor General in 1607, Attorney General in 1613 and Lord Chancellor in 1618. He was awarded the titles of Knight in 1603 and Beran Verulam in 1618. On 9 April 1626 On 9 April 1626, this great scholar and scientist died at Highgate near London. Below is a collection of Francis Bacon Quotes.
